Tired Of Broccoli, Try This!

Good Morning MELTer's,

So recently I just got into eating brussel sprouts and other than  just knowing they are a green vegetable and low in calories I found out some other interesting and beneficial facts as well!

Brussel Sprouts are high in protein, a quarter of their calories. Loaded with vitamin A, folacin (which helps in weight management), potassium and calcium make a great way to get some of your daily minerals.

They have 3-5 grams of fiber per cup, and at 25 calories per 1/2 cup cooked, you will save on calories and feel more full because of the fiber!

Not only are brussel sprouts good for your the taste great too!

I saute them in coconut oil, garlic and a little black pepper which you can adjust to taste.

So if you are looking for a new veggie to eat with dinner, as a snack or to try I recommend brussel sprouts.

Let me know what you think on our Facebook page and if you have any good brussel sprout recipes share them with us as well!-cs
